A Monumental Public Artwork | Sydney Opera House 50th anniversary

CALL TO ACTION:

Please come join us at our Oyster Workshop to give oyster shells a new life towards a monumental public artwork!

Sydney residents are invited to participate in creating a special public artwork to celebrate the Sydney Opera House 50th Birthday. We are calling out for the community spirit to help us collect and recycle oyster shells to be transformed into the piece. We would love your participation to come join us in the workshop where we can prepare the shells to shine at the Sydney Opera House.

The work provides a space for learning local histories, seeing Country through an Indigenous lens and is an opportunity for the greater community of Sydney residents to participate in the project through recycling and reusing shell waste to create the sculptures.
